The WL2836E08-5/TR is a high precision, low noise, high speed, high PSRR, low dropout CMOS linear regulator with high ripple rejection. The device is available in a standard S0T-23-5L package, bringing a new level of cost-effective performance to mobile phones, laptops, and other portable devices. The WL2836E08-5/TR features a foldback maximum output current that is output voltage dependent. Therefore, the current limit can be used as a short circuit protection and output current limiter.
